Polish Language and Culture Club

The Polish Language Club carries out courses of Polish on A1, A2, B1, B2 levels according to the certified requirements of the Państwowej Komisji do spraw Poświadczania Znajomości Języka Polskiego jako Obcego (PKdsPZJPjO) / State Commission for the Certification of Proficiency in Polish as a Foreign Language (https://certyfikatpolski.pl).

The programme is made up of semester modules. Upon successful completion of the programme, according to the results of the final exam, course participants receive a certificate.

Teaching methods: practical classes, individual projects, projects in mini-groups, interactive classes, role plays, debates, discussions, situational analysis, etc.

Course participants communicate with lecturers from Polish partner universities, cultural workers, and representatives of Polish NGOs. They participate in Polish projects implemented by the Ukrainian-Polish Centre.

Every year the members of the Polish Language and Culture Club take part in language internships and integration projects. They travel around Poland, visit interesting places, and practice the Polish language.

As part of the language internships, participants improve their proficiency in the Polish language and get to know Polish culture and traditions, studying at Polish universities and language centres. At the end of the internship, participants receive certificates.

The Polish Language and Culture Club offers training for people of Polish descent who are planning to get a Polish Card. This programme provides additional training in Polish history, geography, religion, cultural traditions, and the current situation in Poland.

Participants of the Polish Language and Culture Club with the help and support of lecturers take an active part in grant programmes and scholarships of the Republic of Poland. Every year, active youth win grants for learning and advanced training. Graduates of our programmes became scholarship holders of the L.Kirklanda Programme (Anna Bondarovych 2010, Olena Loza 2013, Olena Shulkevych 2014, Elizaveta Revilo 2016, Yuliia Osatska 2017, Olena Pochynok 2021), Młodych Naukowców Programme (Mariia Rizun 2014), Banacha Programme (Ilona Turcheva 2012, Oleksandra Kondratenko 2015, Alina Pustovoitova 2016), programmes of the summer school of Polish language and culture Narodowej Agencji Wymiany Akademickiej (Roman Timchenko, Margarita Dikhtiar, Dasha Markova 2018, Liza Gryshyna, Nastia Kozaruk - 2020).

The club attracts the Polish language experts, specialists in teaching Polish as a foreign language. We express our sincere gratitude to the Polish partners for their contribution to the development of the Club and the teaching of our participants:
