Ukrainian-Polish Centre for Management, Entrepreneurship and Investment Development

DRCF Ukrainian-Polish Centre for Management, Entrepreneurship and Investment Development was opened on June 4, 2001, with the participation of Leonid Kuchma, the President of Ukraine, and Aleksander Kwasniewski, the President of the Republic of Poland.

The mission of the Ukrainian-Polish Centre is to promote the development and strengthening of bilateral Ukrainian-Polish relations in the business, educational, informational, cultural, research, and social fields.

Through its initiatives, the Ukrainian-Polish Centre promotes the development of international educational cooperation between universities in Ukraine and Poland.

The Charitable Foundation directs its activities to support humanitarian and social development in Ukraine.

Areas of the Centre’s activity:

Education and research:

  • promoting equal conditions for the realization of the abilities, talents, and comprehensive development of each person;
  • implementation of programmes aimed at universal spiritual values;
  • providing connection with world and national history, culture, and traditions;
  • integration of education with science and industry;
  • promoting the flexibility and predictability of the education system, its unity, continuity, and diversity;
  • participation in research, development, and other types of scientific activity;
  • establishing scientific contacts, supporting international scientific cooperation in basic research in Ukraine and abroad;
  • organization and participation in congresses, forums, conferences, exhibitions, competitions, charity fairs;
  • contributing to the development of health care, mass physical culture, sports, tourism and the promotion of healthy lifestyle.

Economic and business education:

  • development of joint retraining programmes for Ukrainian managers and lecturers, including the organization of internships at Polish enterprises for programme participants;
  • development of joint regular and one-time programmes in Ukraine and Poland for students, as well as for entrepreneurs, managers, and public administrators;
  • organization of internships and exchanges of students, lecturers, specialists;
  • use of Internet and Intranet technologies in the educational process, development of joint online programmes;
  • development of an information resource to support educational products.

Business:

  • development of Polish-Ukrainian relations between companies and individuals through meetings, round tables, conferences, seminars, exhibitions;
  • assistance in logistical issues related to the reception, accompanying, language support of delegations and guests.

Culture:

  • organization of thematic exhibitions, festivals, educational and cultural events.
