Today, Alfred Nobel University (Ukraine) and Adam Mickiewicz University (Poland) with the support of the National Agency for Academic Exchanges (Poland) began the project "Promotion of the Polish Language in Ukraine", a programme intended to improve the skills of Polish language teachers and lecturers in Ukraine.
35 Polish language teachers and lecturers from Dnipro, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Lviv, Poltava, Vinnytsia and other cities are taking part in the advanced training programme. The training will take place online and will last until August 31, 2021.
Participants will take part in classes, workshops and seminars of leading experts from Adam Mickiewicz University and Alfred Nobel University. By the way, students of the Department of English Philology and Translation are also participating in the project, as they study Polish as a third foreign language and were selected from more than 80 other candidates.
The project "Promotion of the Polish language in Ukraine" is based on the use of the latest methods and tools of distance learning. 5 thematic modules on didactics and methodology, aspects of modern Polish, skills of teaching and planning lectures, as well as learning Polish through gamification are planned. The course provides deepening knowledge of modern Polish culture, regional traditions and historical aspects of state formation. Classes will be conducted by ANU’s and AMU’s specialists in teaching foreign languages and Polish language.
In the autumn, if the epidemiological situation allows, the participants will gather together at the Alfred Nobel University to receive certificates from the programme organizers.
